Emerson Network Power is Awarded “Supplier of the Year”

 

Vienna, Austria [9 January, 2012] –Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR) and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity™, today announced that its Embedded Power business was presented with the 2011 “Supplier of the Year Award” by Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC).

 

At the award ceremony in Kista, Sweden, Nathan Vince, Emerson group vice president, was presented with the award by Ericsson’s Eva Andren, vice president, sourcing, business unit networks, and Martin Johansson, vice president, supply, business unit networks.

 

Ericsson stated the award was “in recognition of Emerson Network Power’s outstanding contribution to the business and success of Ericsson in 2011.”  Specifically, Ericsson thanked Emerson’s Embedded Power Business for “excellent performance and flexibility in supporting the introduction of the RBS6000 to the market. Technology, speed and the ability to always deliver, creates a competitive advantage that adds high value to Ericsson”.
